Highest Quality Material is Used In All Our Constructions

Quality Residential Construction

After the excellent workmanship and top grade professionals we deploy on every project we undertake, that we offer, we make sure the quality of raw materials we use is the next most important factor that determines the outcomes of the building s we make. While it stands true that the overall quality of the material affects the strength and safety of the building as a whole, it also boosts our credibility and strengthens the trust that our patrons invest in us.

Our utmost focus lies in the waterproofing and exterior plaster of the building, to give it a sophisticated look while ensuring the durability. Stones, Veneer, Wood, Metalworks, POP and Punning etc. are the other areas of focus that we do not take casually. Significant concentration goes into each process, simply to ensure the best deliveries of homes to our prestigious clients.

There is an endless amount of materials and products, which goes into every building we make; to make it a wholesome and livable entity. Thus, it becomes important to run every raw material through imperative quality checks for the compliance and conformity of products and materials.

Here are some of the reasons we use the highest quality material in all our constructions:

Duration of Construction

Materials that we use are painstakingly manufactured and they pass through numerous quality checks. These measures make the material quite précised and highly compatible, and helps to cut down on the longer duration of constructions.

The strength of the Material

Quality materials are undoubtedly stronger than the inferior ones. For example, iron rods are available in grades; the higher graded rods that go through various tests and have passed them are usually stronger with better tensile capacity. In addition, other materials like blocks, bricks, tiles, steel etc that are of good quality are always stronger and render a longer life to the building.

Safety Point of View

Good quality material is always tested for safety. Even though the quality material may come a little more expensive, but it is a guarantee to safe and secure life for the ones constructing the building and the ones residing in it, while keeping the inherent danger away.

Durability

Better quality of material always ensures the longevity of the premises. This durability definitely adds to our credibility and makes our clients extremely happy.

Sound Insulation

Materials of good quality are sturdily built or produced, and thus, they have better sound insulation ability. For example, sturdy doors, well-mixed concrete that is compacted to perfection always bring about better roofing and sound capacities.

Aesthetics of the Building

If the materials used for the aesthetics of the buildings like bonds, paints and accessories, are of good quality, they always bring out the best appearance of the place. The looks of the building stay the same for a longer period without a need for repair and maintenance.

Cost Effective

Superior quality may sound like an expensive deal, but in the longer run, it is always cheaper as the residents save a lot of money that they might have to shell out on wastage, repair and maintenance.

Recyclable Material

If the material holds a good quality, it can be reused as the residents decide to get the previous building dismantled and to have a new one made. Such as the flooring, the fittings and the cabinets can be reused is they are still intact, only if they were of good quality.

Ease of Installation and Adaptability

If quality materials are well made with lesser errors, it makes their use easier for construction workers. Moreover, because of strength and durability, they can go for other non-conventional uses on site, which makes them highly adaptable.

Moisture, Weather and Fire Resistance

Because of quality components, good materials resist moisture and inclement weather conditions better, to poor quality materials. Moreover, quality material is able to resist fire better during an accidental outbreak. Fire is a very important consideration for us when we choose the material for our buildings.

Consistency in Looks

We choose materials that are graded based on consistency. The best paints use better chemicals to bind the pigments together, allowing for better coverage, better look and resistance to UV rays and durability.

Eco-friendliness of the Material

This is an extremely important factor for us.  If the high-quality product for the home is made using sustainable and eco-friendly methods, it minimizes the amount of power and energy wasted in its use. Thus, we are able to save on our resources significantly and the wastage is curtailed too.

Resale Market

If the building is made from high-quality material, the resale value of the building enhances manifolds, ensuring better returns for the owner.

Now let us talk about the methods through which we choose the quality material for our buildings. Some of the critical construction materials like cement, steel, concrete, etc. need to be of the highest quality as these are the essential backbone of any construction endeavour. The suitability of these materials for construction purposes can be established through rigorous testing. Proper testing can be carried out only when stringent standards and guidelines are available which can be followed and which will act as the benchmark and comparator.

We follow the Quality Guidelines in India for construction and building materials that are developed by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which is the National Standards Body in India. The BIS has the responsibility for developing the Standards, as well as issuing Licenses for Product Certification.

Materials testing is carried out at various testing labs around the country. It is essential that all these Testing Laboratories are recognized by BIS. There are currently 154 BIS recognized Testing Labs in India of which 93 are Private Labsand 61 are Government Labs.

Common Tests Used for Construction Materials

Some of the most common construction materials are Cement, Steel, Stone Dust, Concrete, Aggregates, Bricks, and Marble or Granite.

Here are the commonly conducted tests for these materials:

Cement Testing

  • Chemical Analysis
  • Compressive Strength
  • Fineness
  • Heat of Hydration
  • Setting Time and Others

Steel Testing

  • Rebend Test
  • Elongation Test
  • Ultimate Tensile Strength Test

Concrete Testing

  • Design Mix
  • Chloride Content
  • Chloride Permeability
  • Chloride Ponding
  • Cube Compressive Test
  • Ultrasonic Testing & others

Aggregate Testing

  • Bulk Density
  • Polished Aggregate Friction Value
  • Particle Density & Water Absorption
  • Sieve Analysis
  • Aggregate Crushing Value
  • Petrography Analysis
  • Alkali-aggregate Reactivity
  • Chloride Content and Others

Brick Testing

  • Apparent Porosity And Density
  • Water Absorption
  • Permanent Linear Change
  • Abrasion Resistance
  • Creep Test
  • Modulus Of Rupture & Others

Marble or Granite Testing

  • Water Absorption
  • Mohs Hardness
  • Modulus of Rupture
  • Frost Resistance
  • Chemical Resistance
  • Dimension Testing
  • Thermal Shock Test
  • Breaking Strength

We have jotted down only a few of the tests so that our readers can get the idea on what kind of testing is conducted on the construction material and the standards that make them qualify for good categories. These testing methods are aimed at rigorously evaluating the suitability of the materials for construction purposes. Passing the tests always ensures that the products are of a specified standard and are thereby labeled with the “ISI stamp of quality” as per the standards set forth by the BIS.

We earnestly request all our customers to look for ISI mark, to ensure the quality of material being used.

Apart from the material usage, we also make sure to ensure the best quality in the talent that we deploy on the buildings. For example, the engineers and the contractors that work for us are supremely qualified and highly skilled who implement the construction wit utmost ingenuity and hard work. All of them are well aware of the standards and guidelines in order to ensure Quality Assurance and Compliance with the standards.
